Welcome to camp! Rain or shine today explorers made the best of the weather and continued on with fun adventures. The day might have started off rainy but, these young explorers made the best of the situation the little chefs made salads for Autumn the deer while others fed Mrs. Owl her mice. Then we had a special surprise when a visitor came and taught the young explorers about insects and arachnids. The young explorers got to touch some insects and learn the difference between all of them. They even learn about how some scorpions can glow under black light. Then a fitting end to the day filled with rain in the morning and a sunny after noon when we closed out the day with getting dirty in the mud kitchen.

Today might have been hot but we stayed cool! Today the young explorers started off the day by doing the morning routine of feeding Mrs.Owl and Autumn the deer. Then we went inside and made our own animals using pool noodles. Some animals had wings some had stingers and some even gave kisses! Then talked about animal prints and made molds of animal tracks out of clay One group of explorers went on an animal hike and they were looking at the different types of animals they see and even the tracks they leave. On this hike, the explorers added a twist of their own on their way to lunch when they turned into stormtroopers and we even had two Darth Vaders and one golden trooper. With the help of the Emperor and Darth Vaders leading the way, these troopers marched around the forest on their way back to their ship that was about to be invaded.
