Participate in a one-of-a-kind community science opportunity at Johnson Nature Center with our partner and sponsor, Oakland Audubon Society. You’ll experience bird banding with a federally-licensed bird bander, Allen Chartier, and the opportunity to join guided hikes with local bird enthusiasts from Oakland Audubon Society and Johnson Nature Center. Other activities include a family birding scavenger hunt, sketching birds using tutorials, and additional hands-on fun and learning focused on our feathered friends! Dress for the outdoor weather.
